Verified by Visa is a secure online platform designed to provide you with added security when shopping online. Once you are registered with Verified by Visa, you will be prompted to answer three security questions (such as date of birth, Mother’s maiden name etc) at the checkout. Once you have answered these questions correctly, your transaction will be processed as normal.
How do I register in the program?
There are two ways to register in the program. The first is a manual activation which is done just before completing your purchase online. If you are shopping at an online store which is a part of the program, you will simply be prompted to sign up before the payment will be accepted. The second is to register prior to shopping online. This can be done with the help of our staff or by visiting the Verified by Visa website, here
Why should I register for Verified by Visa?
Although not all online stores participate in the program, by registering your card you will have the peace of mind that when shopping online, your transactions are offered extra security.
Will I be asked my security questions each time I shop online?
Not all online stores participate in the program. Once you are registered, if you are making a purchase at an online store not in the program, you will simply proceed to the checkout as normal.
